Don't worry about the summer heat; we've got you covered with our first-ever vintage of Sauvignon Blanc! We sourced amazing fruit from the Monte Lago Vineyard of High Valley for a rare musque clone of this noble grape and the results are amazing.
More delicate and floral than typical grassy New World Sav Blanc, our wine has a lovely floral nose with hints of tropical fruit, figs and just a touch of balancing herbal notes. On the palate, the wine is light and crisp but with a mouth-coating roundness created by fermenting a small percentage of the wine in new French Oak barrels. Flavors of honeysuckle, melon and citrus zest make for easy pairings with grilled poultry and seafood, Asian-fusian dishes, fresh goat cheese and salads. Don't forget that Sauvignon Blanc is one of the few wines to pair really well with asparagus, artichokes and eggs so it's great for brunch and with your farmer's market goodies as well.
