Our 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon clone 337 from Kenefick Ranch was harvested on October 25th and produced a wine with a combination of grace and power. Ripe dark raspberry aromas jump from the glass coupled with anise and spice. On the palate, plush Cabernet fruit coats the mouth with layers of red fruits mixed with fine grained tannins and exotic oak overtones. While still young, this wine already has smoothed out all the ruff edges and looks to be the most accessible of the 2006 wines we made.
